One from the archives, Peter Andre from the first time he was famous

Whilst digging through our archives for something else! We came across this nugget of social history. The year was 1996, and the place was Crawley leisure center! Peter Andre was at No1 (it was the nineties, remember) and I think the tour had been booked well before the record was released. With all the trampolines pushed down one and of the sports hall, Peter Andre played for a Springsteen esque 20 mins! Other notables on the Smash Hits tour of Crawley included 911. Ultimate Kaos, Code Red, Blair and Damage.

The Cutting here is from top music journal, the Surrey Mirror newspaper. My overwhelming memory of shooting these pictures was the screaming from the teenage girls in the audience, which it was latter explained to me, was for the future Mr Price and not for me!
